MODEL MAKING CONTEST

Creativity, they say, is the power to create everything out of nothing, to bring out the beauty out of the seemingly mundane. The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but the ability to put the knowledge to practical use.
We, at Axis '09, give to you the opportunity to show everyone how creative you can be at XSCIBIT our resident science fair, where you, along with other brilliant brains like yourself will showcase their talent by means of informative and innovative models. There are huge prizes up for grabs. So lets get inventing!!!

Event format

There are 2 categories viz.

  1. Working models :

    Topic - technology/principles that define the modern world.

  2. Non Working Models :

    Topic - a. Renewable sources of energy

b. Biological models

The participants would be judged on the basis of their creativity, innovation, explanation and ingenuity of the models.

Rules and Regulations

  1. The maximum number of participants per team is 2.

  2. Decision taken by the judges will be final and binding.

  3. Each model should be accompanied with a write up about the topic of interest and principles involved ( on A4 pages in printed form).
