A workshop on remote controlled IC engine cars


Are you thrilled by the humming of an IC engine? Ever wondered how engine torque gets transmitted? Did you always wanted to know the secret of a smooth ride? If your answer to these questions is yes, then CARma is all for you!
Axis’10 with this workshop gives enthusiasts from all fields an opportunity to learn what all KARMA goes into building a car.
Mech-a-tryst in just its inception year comes out of its cocoon and spreads out its wings presenting a workshop on remote controlled IC engine cars in three cities viz. Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur. This workshop under the prestigious hood of AXIS will introduce the participants to the components of a remote controlled IC engine, the factors affecting the car performance, remote controlling and software modeling. At the end of the workshop the participants will be able to build for themselves a working remote controlled IC engine car.

The schedule for the workshops is as follows:

7th August – VJTI, Mumbai
8th August – COEP, Pune
12th August – VNIT, Nagpur


Participants will be charged a nominal amount of Rs.300/- for the workshop which will be collected ON THE SPOT. The workshop will be conducted by Mr. Siddharth, a renowned personality in this field who has been associated with these sorts of events for past many years and has been judging rc racing events at various technical festivals across India. Participants can win lots of exciting prizes and goodies during the workshop by winning interesting automobile related quizzes. Students will get certificates of participation at the end of the workshop.
