Problem statement & Rules

Main task:

1. Participants can submit their papers on any topic of their interest under 4 broad categories. They are as given below:
   • Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science Engg.
   • Mechanical and Civil Engg.
   • Chemical, Mining and Metallurgical Engg.
   • Environmental and Social Aspects of Technology.
2. Participants must specify under which category they want their paper to be judged. Each category will be judged separately.
3. The 4th category is a new cluster started from this year. Papers can be written on general topics like environmental and social aspects of setting up an industry or dam, bio-fuels, green homes, etc.
4. Based on the nature of the paper it will be classified as review and research paper. Papers on research or project work done in any institute, industry or individually will be grouped as research paper. Other papers come under the review group. Each main category has these 2 groups which will be judged separately.
5. Maximum number of members in one team is limited to 2.
6. A team can submit more than 1 paper under any category.
