Metamorphosis

Anyone who has played the Age of Empires is probably familiar with the concept of an Age. The entire concept of ages can be succinctly described in the following lines: till recent times, each generation had a couple of foundry and smithy workers who got a lucky break when they inadvertently mixed two (or more) metals. And thus was born the field of metallurgy. The advent of Bohr’s atomic theory and the periodic table led certain members of the populace to think they had the inherent right to fiddle with everything they could lay their eyes on and thus, material science came into being. The contribution of these fields to our lives today however, cannot possibly be overrated.

The metallurgical event at AXIS 10 is an exhibition of some of the most efficient and practical prototypes related to metals and material sciences.
