Eclectic
Problem Statement:
Participants have to design an ECLECTIC (Electric Car) to take power supply through metal strips fixed on arena to complete the given track. Task is to pick up the thin metal plate from PICKUP BOX and drop it in DROP BOX. Also to push the "wooden block" in the gap (shown in diagram) and to drive over it.
Arena Specification:-
1. Power supply will be given through metal strips (20 V ac).
2. Distance between metal strips is 10 cm and width of each strip is 4cm. Total
width of arena is 30 cm.
3. Potential difference between strips and distance between strips is constant
throughout the arena.
4. Angle of elevation is 30° and angle of declination is 37°.
5. PICK UP BOX dimensions are - 4*4*1
6. Metal plate will be made up of magnetic material, and it will be thin sheet of dimensions nearly equal to that of PICK UP BOX
Rules and Regulations:
1. Maximum members allowed per team are 3.
2. Maximum Length and width of the brush should not be more than 4 cm.
3. Points will be given on the basis of efficiency, time, number of tasks performed.
4. Use of any kind of external power supply is not allowed.
5. Bonus points will be given for wireless Electric car.
6. The dimensions of the bot should not be more than 30cmx30cmx25cm including all extensions.
7. Decisions taken by Event Managers will be final and binding.
