The triumph of science is mainly due to its practical utility, or, as aptly put above, gumption. Crepido, the Civil Engineering event, attempts to harness this capacity of engineering by combining the theoretical and practical aspects of construction, be it the actual design of a stable structure, a radical alteration to a pre-existing structure, even the design of an entire township or an economic zone. The idea is to make the said solution foolproof and aesthetic at the same time, to present an exemplary model of the onus in science, that is engineering.
